FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Thanks for all of your great questions. We really appreciate getting them as it helps us to focus and improve our programs.
Q: Can I talk to someone who has done the program?

Yes. Bestseller Bootcamp has a new community portal where you will find current participants and alumni.

Q: Can I pay monthly instead of up front?

No. The main reason is that writers need to make a commitment to themselves, and in our society nothing commits like a financial commitment. Writing a book is hard work. You'll want to quit a hundred times before you are done. How often do we say to ourselves, "I paid for it; I better finish"? Experts tell us that we value what pay for.

Yes, getting the dough up front can be a challenge, but it's not half as hard as writing a book!

Q: What if there is no Bestseller Bootcamp in my area?

Let us know that you are interested and we will start a waiting list for your area. As soon as we have enough for a class, we'll get it started!

Q: If I have already written a book on my own, can I go straight to the Book Two program?

Sadly, no. In our programs students support each other and rely on each other. In the Book Two program we build on the tools and techniques developed in the first program and writers work in an environment with a common language, understanding and expectations.

However, even if you have written a book on your own, the Book One program is invaluable for developing your career, so take a chance and write your next book with us!

Q: Are the Bestseller Bootcamp programs available as two-week or four-week intensives?

We are still considering this. The reason that we space our sessions out at 4-week intervals is so that you have time to write your book between classes (and work, and family and the rest of life's demands). In order to do an intensive program, writers would have to be on vacation from the rest of their lives and write round the clock. Sound like fun? Let us know.

Q: Do you have a youth program?

Bestseller Bootcamp's youth program is in development. We hope to have it rolling out to a few communities in the summer of 2010. We are very interested to hear from those of you who think it would be well-received in your area. You can contact us by email directly or through the Bestseller Bootcamp community portal.
